1What is NIOS CLASS and is it associated with NIOS?
NIOS CLASS is an initiative by onlinenios, founded by Mr Sanjay Srivastava, ex Principal of Birla School Pilani to address the need of good coaching for secondary and senior secondary students of NIOS. NIOS CLASS is a brand name of onlinenios and is not associated with NIOS. NIOS CLASS offers an excellent tutoring platform for coaching for secondary and senior secondary students of NIOS. The NIOS CLASS follows NIOS curriculum and only enrols NIOS students. NIOS CLASS offers great live and interactive tutoring experience through its online learning platform. We offer coaching in the following subjects for both English and Hindi Medium students through best faculty : Language Subject : English. Science Subjects : Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Data Entry Operations. Commerce Subjects : Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies Arts and Humanities Subjects : Social Science, Political Science, Painting, Home Science. We offer notes to students, the classes are recoded so that students can view the recordings whenever they want to. The teachers conduct tests on regular basis. We also help students in preparing the TMAs.
2What is NIOS?
National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) caters to the needs of heterogeneous group of learners upto a pre-degree level. Started as a project in 1979, vested with authority to register, examine and certify students registered with it. Today, it is a recognized credible system of education in India. There is great flexibility in choice of subjects, the students can choose minimum 1 and maximum 5 subjects for appearing in the exams. Exams are conducted two times in year.
3What courses do you offer?
NIOS CLASS offers live and interactive tutoring experience through its online learning platform. We strictly follow NIOS curriculum only. We offer coaching in the following subjects for both English and Hindi Medium students through best faculty : Language Subject : English. Science Subjects : Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Data Entry Operations. Commerce Subjects : Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies Arts and Humanities Subjects : Social Science, Political Science, Painting, Home Science. We offer notes to students, the classes are recoded so that students can view the recordings whenever they want to. The teachers conduct tests on regular basis. We also help students in preparing the TMAs. NIOS CLASS has two programs : Signature Program in which the students can learn the subjects at a comfortable pace and crash course program under which the students can learn or brush up the subjects at a fast pace.
4How will I keep track of my child's development?
We share attendance of your children regularly, also we conduct tests on a periodic basis. The results for the same are also shared with the parents.
5What will be the medium of instruction?
We take classes for English medium and Hindi medium students now. Separate batches for English and Hindi Medium are formed as applicable subject wise.
6How are you better than other tutoring classes?
What makes NIOS CLASS is that we are committed to only NIOS curriculum and students. This focus makes us a specialist in this area.
7How can my child clear his/her doubts instantly during the online class?
Students can clear their doubts instantly in between the lectures themselves. Regular Doubt clearing sessions are conducted by the teachers to clear the doubts before completing any topic.
8For how many days in a week do you conduct classes?
There will be 20-25 classes per month depending on the subject and class.
9Do you provide demo classes?
Yes, we provide demo classes. Please call us at 9829023040 to register.
10What if I am not satisfied with the teacher and need a refund of fees?
In case, you are not satisfied with the teacher, we would organise alternative teacher. However, if you would not like to avail this option, we would require a Refund Application from Parent / Guardian (along with relationship) to be submitted to studentsupport@niosclass.com stating the reason for seeking a refund. If the refund is sought within the first seven lectures, full refund will be given. If it is sought between 7-15 days, prorated refund will be processed based on balance days left. No refund will be offered if the refund is sought after fifteen lectures.
11Do you conduct regular tests?
Yes, we believe in continuous evaluation and have a set procedure for conducting tests regularly. Our tutors strictly adhere to the rules. The tests and assignments are evaluated and the scores for the same are also shared.
12What if a student is not able to attend the session because of any personal reason?
If for some reason, a student can’t attend the scheduled session, the student may watch the recorded session. Students may ask their doubts voluntarily in the next session.
13Do you give lesson notes and homework?
Yes, we facilitate notes to the students to accelerate their learning curve. Tests and assignment are given at a regular interval to gauge the progress of students.
14Will the teachers also help with TMA?
Our teachers help the students in guiding them to complete their TMA.
15What if a faculty can’t attend the session on any particular day?
If because of some reason, a tutor or a student can’t attend the pre-decided session, the person who can’t attend the session will inform the counterparty about the same, at least 1 hour before the session.
16What if students get disturbed due to change of tutors?
When a new tutor is assigned it is quite natural for the students to be disturbed as the teaching pattern changes. But, onlinenios with its best course execution techniques tries to minimize this disturbance. We have a set procedure to change a tutor and student's convenience and learning are of utmost importance while changing tutors.
17Does onlinenios share contact details of their previous clients for reference purpose?
No, we don’t share the contact details of our clients for reference at any cost.
18What if the tutor leaves the assignment for some personal reasons?
Onlinenios will assign another tutor who is best fit to address the student's need.
