Registering for the board examinations for the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is to be done fully online by the aspirants.

What can you keep in handy while registering?

There are several documents to be submitted while appearing for the NIOS board examinations for both 10th and 12th standards.

NIOS Subject Selection

One of the most important decisions while registering for NIOS board examinations is selection of subjects. To appear for the 10th boards, you have to select a minimum of 5 subjects and a maximum of 7, with at least 1 language. The list of subjects available for selection can be found on the website.

The selection of subjects becomes even more important while you are appearing for NIOS 12th board examinations. In this case, the combination of subjects that you choose will become the building blocks for your higher education or job opportunities.
